Behind the Scenes:When I’m not in sessions, you will likely find me spending time with my dog, Noodle, playing pickleball, reading, or journaling. I drink iced coffee non-stop and love a yummy pastry.

Howdy, So glad you are here!I’m Bella, a counselor specializing in helping folks feel at home in their bodies. I work with folks navigating disordered eating, body image, identity work, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and more!
You deserve to live a full, authentic life that feels comforting and joyful, yet, the weight of the world often gets in the way of that reality. As a fellow human, I get it. It feels so hard to exist in a world that doesn’t feel safe. I operate from a core belief you are the expert of your own experience. I deeply value and appreciate your inner wisdom and utilize a collaborative approach in counseling. I see you as a whole person and I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are — messy thoughts, fears, and all. We might work well together if you are looking for a warm, chill, direct, and genuine counselor. I use a variety of techniques, including: storytelling, emotional processing, validation, compassion, but mostly I hear from you to shape the session and ensure you feel safe and guided during the session. At the core of my work, I support clients in coming home to themselves. I provide a space for clients to explore, learn to trust themselves, and advocate for themselves. Bella earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA and currently working towards starting her doctoral program with them as well. Bella is supervised by Elizabeth Oldham, LPC-S Clinical Specialties:Making that first counseling appointment can feel overwhelming.
